About this Nursery

Glenfalloch Trees is a small, purpose-driven tree nursery based at the north end of Loch Lomond Trossachs National Park, operating in Seed Zone 106, and focused on growing native trees for landscape restoration and woodland creation projects. Our work is rooted in the belief that resilient landscapes begin with well-grown, locally appropriate planting stock. We produce container-grown stock, prioritising strong root systems, plant health, and high establishment success in challenging environments. We propagate a range of native species but specialise in keystone species such as Scots pine, birch and oak. All seed is collected locally and trees are grown on for one or two years to ensure they are well-rooted, robust, and suited to restoration settings. Our production systems prioritise strong root development, balanced growth, and planting success over speed or volume.
