Nano-Nurseries Network
Championing Scotland's small-scale tree growersAbout
The Nano-Nurseries initiative is a network of nurseries located across Scotland. Network members are small-scale producers of trees often grown from locally sourced seed. Many of the nurseries cultivate rare or unusual species, including trees from montane areas, refugia, localised island ecologies, and temperate rainforest.
The Network
The Nano-Nurseries Network was set up in 2024 to bring Scotland’s small tree nurseries together and make sure they have the support they need to grow and succeed.
A dedicated part time Coordinator is now working with nurseries across Scotland to understand their needs and develop the training, guidance and connections that will help them thrive.
If you’d like to know more or have any questions, you can contact the Coordinator through the contact page on this website.
