About this Nursery

Fior Forest Nursery is rooted in the landscapes of the Angus Glens, with a clear purpose: to grow resilient, locally adapted trees that support the long-term health of our province. We focus on cultivating both montane and lowland species, carefully selected to reflect the natural diversity of the Angus area. By growing trees suited to local conditions, we aim to strengthen ecosystems, support biodiversity, and contribute to a more sustainable future for the region. Education sits at the heart of what we do. We believe that growing trees is only part of the work—sharing knowledge, building skills, and reconnecting people with the land is just as important. Through hands-on learning and community engagement, we want to empower others to take part in restoring and caring for their environment. Guided by our motto, Pure Province, we are committed to improving the Angus landscape in a way that is practical, responsible, and lasting.
