About this Nursery

We are a small specialist nursery at Bishopton run mainly by volunteers powered by coffee and cake growing a wide range of native wildflowers, shrubs and trees, mainly for our own rewilding projects but often with a surplus for marketing. Our nursery hosts the Scottish National Aspen Clone Collection (350 clones) and other collections of rare species such as stock trees of the complete population of Downy Willow (Salix lapponum) for Southern Scotland. We also specialise on sourcing and growing a wide range of native willows, many not available from commercial nurseries. We have also established seed orchards for Crab Apple and Juniper. We grow a few thousand plants in total each year.
